Nope! We welcome novices — and teach you as we go.

What should I bring?

We aim to keep it simple.  Pack a few basic items, good boots, and your sense of adventure.

How fit should I be?

Trips are moderately challenging, covering several miles on uneven mountain terrain. Participants should be comfortable walking for extended periods while wearing a loaded backpack. Have specific questions? Let's chat!
